Booking and Confirmation
A booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and the guest has been given a booking number. This can be given orally, written or digitally. When booking online, a confirmation email is sent, however if no confirmation is provided, the guest must notify the hotel immediately. Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, the guest must check that all details are correct. It is the guest's responsibility that the details on the booking confirmation are correct. Botanika reserves itself for possible explanatory errors.
If canceled due to withdrawal of consent, already confirmed cancellation rules apply.
The Hotel's Commitments
In case of any complaints, the guest must notify the reception immediately. If Botanika is unable to provide a room that matches the guest's booking confirmation, the guest is entitled to an equivalent or better room at the hotel or at another hotel of a similar standard at no extra cost.
All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Bookings that are non-refundable will be guaranteed once the booking has been paid in full. If the booking is not guaranteed, Botanika reserves the right to cancel the booking without informing the guest.
The possibility of canceling or rebooking depends on the conditions of the selected price range at the time of booking. The guest is responsible for reading the price description that applies to the current booking. Individual bookings made at Flexible Price can be canceled, free of charge, until 18:00 (local time) the day before arrival. Cancellation later than 18:00 on the day before arrival is charged at the first night's charge (credit card used for guarantee is then automatically charged). In case of non-arrival, the booking is considered to be canceled 08:00 the day after the booked arrival date. Non-refundable bookings can be canceled but not refunded, nor can the booking be moved forward in time.
Upon cancellation, the guest must receive a cancellation number as confirmation that a correct cancellation has been made.
If a room has been booked for a specified period of time, but guests depart before this time, it must be notified to Botanika no later than 18:00 the day before departure. If this is not done, the guest may pay the same compensation as for late cancellation.
Unless otherwise stated in the price description, the booking can be changed until 18:00 the day before arrival. In case of changes in date and/or length of booking or number of persons, the price will also be adjusted to the current price. It is forbidden to transfer a booking to another person or allow another person to stay in the hotel room without the hotel's consent. Non-refundable bookings are not able to be changed.
Non-refundable bookings will be charged 100% within 24 hours of booking. For other individual bookings, Botanika reserves the right to pre-authorize an amount equal to 100% of the value of the booking when the deadline for free cancellation expires. If an invalid card or card with insufficient funds is used to guarantee or pay the booking, Botanika reserves the right to cancel these bookings. Botanika is a cash-free hotel and does not accept cash payments.
Arrival and departure
Guests have access to booked hotel rooms from 15:00. Check-out must be no later than 11:00, unless otherwise stated in the price description.
Use of Hotel Rooms
Minors under 18 cannot stay at Botanika without an adult present. The number of guests in the room must not exceed the number of people who have booked the room. Guests may not use the hotel room for anything other than accommodation. Guest under 18 cannot stay in our dorms unless part of a group that has booked the entire dorm when accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.
Smoking is not allowed on Botanika's premises. Guests who violate this may reimburse the hotel for cleaning costs.
An additional fee is required when bringing pets and the guest must inform Botanika at the time of booking if they plan on bringing pets. Pets are not allowed in the room unless specified in the booking.
At Botanika you can rent luggage boxes.
Botanika's guests are responsible for any damage caused by the guest himself or his visitors within the hotel. If the guest or guest's visitors caused such damage or disruption during their stay at the hotel that it will affect the future loss of income, the resident guest is responsible for any compensations.
The hotel room door has detailed security information. It is the guest's duty to personally pay attention to where emergency exits, alarm buttons, and fire extinguishers are located. If you would like more information about Botanika's fire protection, please contact the reception if you are on-site or by mail.
Strikes, lockouts, fires, explosions, wars or similar war conditions, significant restrictions on deliveries or other circumstances beyond Botanika's control give Botanika the right to cancel the booking without the obligation to pay damages.
Disputes caused by or arising in connection with this agreement shall be resolved in the Swedish court. Botanika is a member of Visita and is committed to following decisions made by Visita's responsibility board. If Botanika does not accept a complaint from a guest, the dispute can be tried by the General Complaints Board (ARN).
